Tea Program and Tour:  The Tea Ladies, dressed in Victorian-era costume, will present a 30-minute program, followed by a mansion tour.  Cost of the tea program is $150.00 (for a maximum of 45).  You may choose from among SIX different tea programs:

"Steeped in Tradition: The Art of Afternoon Tea"- This program offers a brief history of tea, tea etiquette, amusing anecdotes about the Queen and a demonstration for brewing "the perfect pot" of tea.

"At Home for Tea"- Calling card etiquette. We present each guest with a calling card and discuss the complicated ritual of Victorian calling.

"A Bridal Tea"-Wedding traditions and bridal etiquette.  We also dress a Victorian bride from her corset to her veil.

"Outrageous Etiquette"- Crazy etiquette rules (from the 1870s) that you won't believe. Everyone has fun and the audience gets to participate!

"Garden Party Tea"- Garden hats, picnic etiquette & flower-themed teas are discussed. This tea may be held in a tent outside, weather permitting.

"Romance at Tea"- The secret languages of love-flowers, fans, and postage stamps!

Tea Service with Tea Program & Tour: A combined tea service and tea program is available @ $15.00 per person for a group of 25 or more (the fee is $350 for groups of 24 or less). In addition to enjoying one of the above tea programs, visitors are treated to a "light tea" served in the mansion's beautiful formal parlor.  Light tea consists of hot, brewed tea and an assortment of tea goodies. Guests are seated at tea tables covered with fine linens and all the proper tea appointments; a "Victorian maid" will also be at your service!  The parlor accommodates a maximum of 30 guests seated at 5 tables; larger groups will be divided into two seatings.  Please book the tea service & program two months in advance. All programs are presented by The Tea Ladies©.   Visit The Tea Ladies © website at www.thetealadies.com
